I am a Mellon postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Philosophy at Rutgers University. I work in the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of cognitive science, and ethics.
From 2022 to 2025, I was a postdoctoral associate at the Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science. I received my Ph.D. in philosophy in 2022 from The Ohio State University.
When not doing philosophy, I enjoy running, watching sports, taking photos, and spending time with my wife Rachel and son Miller. I am a proud and long-suffering fan of the Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers.

In Fall 2025, I’ll be an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Rutgers University.
I won the 13th Annual Essay Prize at the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at the University of Antwerp for “Formats Are Consciously Experienced.”
My paper, “The Value of Cognitive Experience”, has been accepted for publication at The Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
In Summer 2025, I am teaching an online version of “Introduction to Cognitive Science” at RuCCS.
